In this film, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello encounter none other than a scheming Boris Karloff who appears as the (in)credible mystic bent upon framing poor Costello as the perpetrator of a series of hotel murders. Lou's pal Bud, who plays the hotel detective, isn't much help either.
